Virtue Rf Microneedling works with robotic precision by placing 36 sterile golden microneedles deep into the dermis of the skin, creating thousands of micro-channels and injecting the radio frequency heat energy which stimulates collagen and elastin production to tighten and lift the skin.

Due to the intensity of the radio frequency energy which is deposited deep into the dermis with each treatment, results are immediate and will continue to improve with time.  It can take up to 4-6 weeks until the full benefits are apparent

PRFM stands for Platelet Rich Fibrin Matrix. The process is as follows: We draw your blood into a test tube, and spin it in a centrifuge to separate the white blood cells from the red blood cells. The white blood cells ultimately form a golden liquid rich in your own growth factors, which will easily be accepted and absorbed by your body in this very concentrated form. This golden liquid is called PRP or Platelet Rich Plasma. We use the Selphyl State of the Art system which transforms the watery PRP into a gel, which will be time released, delivering much better and more noticeable results. When PRFM is applied to freshly microneedled skin, it is absorbed deeply into the thousands of microchannels, producing the best possible tightening and lifting results.

Virtue RF Microneedling is a virtually pain free experience. First of all, we numb clients for 30 minutes prior to the treatment using what is known as BLT(Benzocaine, Lidocaine and Tetracaine). Second, Virtue RF microneedles are driven into the skin using the exclusive robotic precision delivery (RPD) system. The insertion is so exact that it creates no tearing or trauma to the skin, unlike microneedling pens or other RF microneedling systems that can scratch the skin causing pain, bleeding, redness, irritation and downtime.

One of the key benefits of a Virtue RF Microneedling treatment is that there is no social downtime.  The skin may appear pink for a few hours but the exclusive post-care regimen works to soothe the skin so most will only notice a post-treatment tightening and glow to the treated areas.  We do recommend no make-up for 24hrs and of course, it’s always important to use sun protection. 

The length of a treatment depends on the area being treated and the protocol being followed.  Typically, a full face treatment will take 20 minutes of actual treatment time, plus the 30 minutes of numbing and also at least 10-15 minutes for the aftercare masks.

This treatment is great for any age or skin type. However, it is not recommended for those attempting to combat melasma, as the heat generated by the radio frequency energy may aggravate that condition. * Those with melasma may want to have a consultation to see which of our laser treatments, such as Erbium Fractional Skin Resurfacing, may be right for them.

Although most will choose to treat the face, face and neck, or face, neck and chest…We can treat most any area of the body as well with Virtue RF microneedling. Sagging post baby tummies, crepey arm or leg skin and more…will gain tremendous benefits from a series of Virtue RF Microneedling sessions.

Although treatment plans are formulated based on individual needs, we generally recommend a series of 3-4 treatments, spaced 4-6 weeks apart.

A PDO Thread lift is a safe, quick and FDA approved way to get results similar to a facelift without surgery or general anesthesia. Local anesthesia is administered and threads are inserted into the face, neck or other areas in order to produce the lifted effect. Generally, barbed threads are used so that the tissue can easily be manipulated in a lifting fashion, producing instant and lasting results. Smooth threads can also be used in order to stimulate collagen production to tighten the treated areas.

The threads are made of Polydioxanone (PDO), which is a synthetic biodegradable polymer that has been used in surgery for many years. This material will eventually dissolve away and be absorbed by the body and discarded.

There are actually a variety of PDO thread types, each having its own unique purpose. Once your treatment plan is established, based on your aesthetic goals, the number and appropriate type of threads will be decided upon by your practitioner.

There are two main types of PDO Threads that are commonly used in the PDO Thread Lift procedure:

1-  Floating Barbed Threads, which have the following options:

• Unilateral
• Bilateral
• Spiral
• Uni-directional
• Bi-directional
• Z-type
• Cutting barbs
• Molding barbs

2- Floating Non-Barbed Threads, which include the following subclassifications:

• Braided threads
• Mono-filament threads

Most threads will last anywhere from 6-9 months. How long the threads actually last depends on a couple of actors. There are several types of threads which vary in thickness, and thicker threads last longer than others. Also, each person has a different rate of metabolism, and this will also affect how long the threads last. Keep in mind that although the threads may have dissolved, the results of the lifting frequently last up to 3 years do the shift in skin position and collagen modeling in which results.

First you will be numbed, which takes about 20-30 minutes. Then the treatment itself only takes about 30 minutes as well. Of course, this depends on which areas, and how many areas, are being treated.

Yes! The PDO Thread Lift treatment is completely safe. It is approved by the FDA for safety and efficacy. Hundreds of thousands of treatments have been safely performed without reports of allergic reactions, sensitivities to the threads or other serious side effects or risks.

It is best to follow these guidelines prior to getting the PDO Thread Lift. Avoid the following for 48 hours prior to treatment:

• Alcohol
• Chinese medicine
• Direct sun
• Ginko Biloba
• Omega fish oil
• Vitamin E
• Over stimulating workout routines
• Steam rooms, saunas, and hot tubs

The areas to be treated Are numbed so there is little to no discomfort.

When you arrive for the PDO Thread Lift treatment, your skin will be gently cleansed to remove dirt and makeup and sunscreen. Then we cleanse again using Hibicleanse antiseptic cleanser. Once the face is thoroughly clean, the areas to be treated will be numbed using medical grade numbing cream, as well as injectable local anesthetic.

Once the areas to be treated are completely numb, the treatment will commence. The PDO Threads will be inserted into the skin using blunt tip needles called cannulas, or in some instances, using very sharp tipped needles. Once the PDO Threads have been inserted into the proper layers of the skin, they act as anchors which then will be manipulated to lift the skin up and back. Once the skin has been lifted and positioned properly, the excess threads are cut off leaving no trace.

One of the best features of the PDO Thread Lift treatment is the ease of aftercare. It’s very simple, really. Basically, you want to avoid situations that will keep your mouth open for prolonged periods. Dental appointments and procedures should be avoided for 2 weeks post treatment. And, it is recommended that you sleep on your back for 2 weeks post treatment as well, in order to avoid affecting the results on either side of the face. And that’s it. Life goes on pretty much as usual, only you look much better!

For most, the results of skin lifting and contouring will be visible immediately after the PDO Thread Lift treatment, when the barbed threads are used. Some results will take up to six weeks or more to materialize, as they are contingent on the stimulation of collagen production by the strategically placed smooth PDO Threads.

The final results timeline will depend on age and skin laxity at time of treatment. Generally, it takes one to two months post treatment with the PDO Threads to see the final results. Of course, you have to take into consideration which type of PDO Threads were used, how many and where they were placed. Each PDO Thread Lift treatment is custom designed for the individual, and so individual results timelines vary.

Generally, patients are satisfied with the results of only one PDO Thread Lift treatment. Our common practice is to schedule a 6 month follow-up evaluation to see how the results are looking and to determine if another PDO thread Lift procedure needs to be performed. Again, age and skin laxity at time of original treatment will weigh heavily in how pleasing the results will be after one treatment.

The results of a PDO Thread Lift will last up to 3 years.

Those with moderate skin laxity, fine lines and wrinkles tend to be great candidates for the PDO Thread Lifting procedure. This treatment is perfect for those who would like to attain results which are similar to a face lift, but do not want surgery or extensive downtime. This is a really great treatment for those who wish to improve the look of their smile lines and jawline in particular.

The following conditions are contraindicated for receiving the PDO Thread Lift. Please be sure to advise the medical practitioner if any of these conditions apply to you:

We use the EVO Q-Plus C by Cartessa to perform the Laser Genesis skin tightening treatment. The Laser Genesis treatment is performed using a 1064 long-pulsed nm Nd:YAG laser.

An Nd:YAG laser is a solid state photo thermal laser which is capable of producing a near-infrared wavelength which penetrates deep into the layers of the skin and is capable of stimulating collagen production.

Laser genesis is a no downtime treatment with immediate and time sustained results. The areas which have been treated should be either kept covered or have sunscreen applied regularly.

It is recommended that you avoid saunas, spas, excessive exercise or hot showers directly on the face for 24-48 hours following the treatment. It is important to maintain sun protection at all times, wearing a hat and sunscreen are both recommended. Normal cleansing, exfoliation and showering directly on treated areas can resume after 48 hours. All of these recommendations are based on the heat that can be generated deep in the layers of the skin.
